The fifth meeting of the project named “Examination of Local Cheese Production Technologies and Hygiene Standards in the Light of EU”, which received grant support on behalf of Eskişehir Agriculture and Forestry Directorate within the scope of Erasmus + Program, whose short name is BestCHEESE, was held in Eskişehir / Turkey between 20-22 July 2022.
The foreign partners of the project are Agrigento Public Health Institution in Italy, Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra / Slovakia, Ljbuljbana Veterinary Faculty in Slovenia, which is hosted by Eskişehir Agriculture and Forestry Directorate.
After the Project Manager Ender Muhammed GÜMÜŞ made the opening speeches, the project coordinator Veterinarian Dr. Hatice OLCAY made a presentation about the project activities carried out so far. Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ufuk Tansel ŞİRELİ made presentations on Cheese Milk and Milking Hygiene. Subsequently, the project participants made their presentations and office work within the pre-prepared program.
On Thursday, July 21, Eskişehir Governor Erol AKYILDIZ received the Erasmus Group in her office and received information about the meaning and importance of the project.
At the end of the project, the participants who visited the historical and touristic places of Eskişehir were sent off to their homes by making mutual good wishes to meet in the next projects.
