Laboratory of animal biotechnology

• Experiments are focused on solving the problem of isolation, cryopreservation and evaluation of the quality of poultry blastodermal cells by means of fluorescence, confocal and electron microscopy for the purpose of cryopreservation in a gene bank of animal genetic resources,
• sampling, cryopreservation and evaluation of sperm quality (CASA, Flow cytometry, fluorescence and electron microscopy) of the Slovak rooster breed “Oravka” and rabbit breeds “Nitriansky, Zoborský and Holíčsky” for long-term cryo-preservation and for the purpose of gene bank of animal genetic resources.
