- application of DNA markers – study of population molecular characteristics Hedera helix L.,
- identification of the expression level of the Hedera helix L. genes by qRT-PCR,

- application of DNA markers based on retrotransposons – characterization of hazel genome variability,
- analyzes of the amaranth and ivy genomes using direct PCR,
- application of molecular markers based on microRNA (miRNA) in terms of mapping the influence of stress factors on genome, intracellular and interdisciplinary plant variability, genotyping verification and authentication and creation of DNA imprint databases,
- identification of miRNA-stress biomarkers by profiling expression of miRNA,
- research of miRNA medicinal plants in terms of characterization of species and tissue specific miRNA molecules and their therapeutic significance,
