Scientific and Research Activities of the Laboratory
Carrying out all essential activities for basic and applied research, from primary and secondary data collection through statistical analysis and inference to modeling. Publishing results in scientific journals and integrating findings into new project proposals.
- Developing the methodology and drafting Slovakia’s National Technology Transfer Report (Steps of Thematic Technology Transfer – Example of AgroFood)
- Document analysis and preparation of the Country Report on Technology Transfer in Slovakia
- Scientific assessment of the “Local Training” event within the 3TforUni project at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (public session held 16 June 2022 under project 2020-1-TR01-KA203-094707)
- Drafting the Circular Bioeconomy Action Plan for the Nitra Self-Governing Region—approved by the Interreg Europe Joint Secretariat and published on the project website
- Identifying four Good Practice examples for the BIOREGIO Interreg Europe project (PGI01963)—Regional Circular Economy Models and Best Available Technologies for Biological Streams
- Producing the “Summary Report on the Current Policy Situation” and the “Expert Paper on Regional Good Practices” for BIOREGIO (published on partner and project websites)
- Conducting normative analysis of Slovak and EU legislation in the waste and construction sectors for APVV-20-0076, including DEA-based assessment of administrative-office performance in Košice and Nitra regions
- Drafting alternative cooperation scenarios for building-permit and waste-management authorities
- Compiling a portfolio of recommendations for improving public-administration quality in the construction and waste-management sectors

Doba riešenia od roku 2017 do 2021. - Zelené hodnotenie potravinárskeho priemyslu v krajinách V4 z pohľadu taxonómie EÚ, č.22320032 (Visegrad Grants) – in line with the aims of the EU green transition and sustainability process, the consortium will conduct scientific research in V4 food industries regarding sustainability reporting practices from the point of view of EU taxonomy by analyzing the content and quality of large companies’ online reports using a four-point scale assessment in accordance with the relevant literature, EU Directives, and EU Taxonomy. ).
