Children’s Summer University – “Young food scientist” event

The Summer Children’s University at the AgroBioTech Research Centre provided a unique opportunity for children to learn about modern technologies and the basics of healthy nutrition in a playful and interactive way. Young participants learned about the use of drones in food production, learned about the importance of nutritional ingredients for healthy growth and development, and discovered how to design foods to be both tasty and healthy. In a creative workshop, they made their own healthy biscuits, which they then tasted. The programme ended with an interactive ‘Really Healthy Quiz’ and the presentation of diplomas.
